  • AnEnd to Apathy

    Plato said that, “The price of apathy toward public affairs is to be ruled over by evil men.”

    This I have come to know as ultimate truth.

    I’ve been distant for quite some time now. I have isolated myself because I feel that my personal views have become far too controversial for my friends and family to accept. I feared the reaction I might encounter should I express myself openly. Those days have passed now. I can no longer afford to let my fear paralize me. If I don’t speak up I am choosing to be part of the problem.

    There was a time when I was one of the apethetic masses. I was completely self-absorped and totally disconnected from the reality outside of my own life. Sometimes I wish I had remained there because the truth of what is happening in this world today can be very depressing. It is hurtful for me to know that another of my fellow human beings could and would plot to harm me… to harm us… and yet they are out there doing just that and my denial of that fact gives them more power and opportunity.

    I have great pity for those with this great evil in their hearts for it is clear to me that they have forgotten who they are and that to do harm to another is ultimately doing harm to themselves. I pray for them and send them Love and Light that they might remember their connection to The Whole before it’s too late.

    Yet, I feel just as much frustration with another portion of our population. The ones who have been shown the truth and yet choose to remain blind and apathetic are as much a part of the problem as those who execute the evil in the first place. Facing these facts takes great courage. Speaking out against them takes even more. I pray that each and every human finds the courage within themselves to face the truth, speak the truth and then to stand up and fight for what is right!

    “If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us inpeace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

  • Living on the RIGHT Side

    This blog is inspired by the video; “How it feels to have a stroke” featuring neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor. This woman is a scientist who presents the opportunity to show scientific evidence, through her own personal experience, that we truly are ALL ONE. In a previous blog, I shared with you “The Five Steps to Inner Peace” of which the first step is asking you to embrace this idea that “WE ARE ALL ONE”.

    I hope you will take the time to view her video so that you can gain understanding into the nature of brain function and that we literally have two separate brains and what their separate functions are.

    I think we are all pretty much aware that we all possess two sides to our being. One we call light, the other we call shadow… one intellectual and one intuitive…. one that operates on facts about our physical reality that come to us through physical stimulation and another that operates through intuition that comes from a place beyond physical reality.

    As humans, we need both sides of our brains to function in balance in order for us to live effectively in our present physical reality.

    I think that most of the problems we find in our world today have developed because we have been taught to suppress and ignore the functions of our right brain and instead to rely completely on the functions of our left brains. The right brain knows that we are The Life Force Power of the Universe… that we are unavoidably connected to everything else in the universe… that there are no real boundaries between us and everything else. While our left brain, when disconnected from our right brain, can lead us to believe that we are separate and disconnected. Feeling separate and disconnected leads us to act selfishly… to put all our mental focus on our own individual needs rather than recognizing that we are better served when we work for the good of ALL.

    Dr. Jill has given an excellent presentation that explains the functions of each side of our brain. Her narrative can help you to understand why it is so important for us to learn to reintegrate, exercise and build our right brain functions.

    Intuition is just as important as intellect in order to live a fulfilling and balanced life that fosters peace and unity on our planet.

  • Energy Consciousness

    I own a unique kind of cleaning business. What makes it unique is that I implement Reiki Energy Work into my cleaning strategy. I recently had occassion to do a 10 minute presentation about my business in front of 50 people in a business networking group. I advertise my business as being “energy conscious” and since several people had questioned what that meant I geared my presentation to addressing that question. What follows here is that presention.

    What does it mean to be “energy conscious” and what does energy consciousness have to do with cleaning?

    Being energy conscious is about having an awareness of the energy around us and paying close attention to what kind of energy we are putting out into our environments. This affects everythingwe do and experience, even cleaning.

    Everything in existence is some form of energy. Modern science acknowledges that the human body is made up of an energy field, and that the world is a dynamic web of inseparable energy patterns.

    Einstein’s famous equation, E = mc2, teaches us that matter and energy are interchangeable, merely different forms of the same thing. Einstein proved that everything is energy and therefore there is no dualistic world, everything in the universe is connected. All forms of energy interact and influence all others. If we are conscious of the energy, in and around us, we have the opportunity, the ability and the responsibility, to influence it and direct it in a positive way that can bring about physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing.

    Thoughts, words and intentions have the power to affect all other forms of energy.

    For instance-  Masaru Emoto is a scientist who studies the effects that words, music, photographs and prayer have on water.

    Below are two pictures that demonstrate the effects of words .

     These are the result of typing words onto paper, then taping the paper onto glass bottles of untreated distilled water and leaving them to sit overnight.

              “Thank you”                “You make me sick, I want to kill you!”

    Here is yet another way to illustrate this point.

    Below, are two electrocardiogram readings. These record the energy emitted by the human heart.

    The one on the left shows the heart energy of a person thinking positive thoughts and having sincere feelings of love.

    The one on the right is typical of a person who is feeling angry and frustrated.

     Energy cannot be created or destroyed, however, it can be transformed as illustrated by these two pictures.

      Polluted water from Fujiwara Dam           The same water after prayer

    Now, I want you to keep in mind that most living tissue is composed of some amount of water, up to and even exceeding, 90% . The human body is 60% water. So, after seeing the effects of words on just the energy of water, imagine the impact our words, attitudes and behaviors are having on the people close to us and on our entire planetary system.

  • BAFFLED BY BULLSHIT!!!

    THE LOVE OF MONEY TRULY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL….

    I tend to think that “The Beast” referred to in the Bible is actually our monitary system… the world economy. If we are ever forced to take “the number of the beast” it will be because the money masters wish to track the money… simple as that. To understand “The Beast” enough to know how to navigate around it you need to educate yourself on how money works. They want you to think that it’s all too complicated for the average Joe. They deliberately make things as convoluted as possible then pretend that they know what it means and that we need them to guide us. They want us to believe we’re too stupid to figure it out on our own so that they can remain in control by “helping” us to navigate the financial environment. They are just baffeling us with bullshit! By getting educated we can reclaim our power.

  • TALK ABOUT TOXIC ASSETS!

    Our money is poisonous!

    Did you know that the ink on our money is a noxious, toxic, consumer unfiendly heavy metal?

    It contains mercury, cadmium, arsenic, cyanide, titanium dioxide, formaldehyde, lithium, thallium, zinc and until 1961, it also contained lead!

    More and more and more I come to believe that they are trying to kill us!

    Do you know what they do with the money that is no longer useable?

    They shred it, put it in baggies and sell it to tourists. I can’t be sure of what he said they charge for it but $30.00 sounds right.

    Every day they shred enough paper money to fill a basketball court all the way to the rim!

    This info came from the “Meet the Fed” video that I posted previously. This is only the tip of the iceberg… It just blows my mind.

    When Kevin and I discuss Biblical prophesy I tell him that I truly believe that “The Beast” that is spoken of in the Bible is actually the world economy…. consumerism…. the big mean nasty corporate machine. The “mark of the beast” will be the number they’ll attempt (and fail) to mark us with, so as to make us all cogs within the workings of their big mean nasty corporate machine.

  • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender

    I woke this morning to 2 pieces of disturbing news… the Rutgers student who commited suicide and the idiot in the attorney general’s office in Michigan. I am deeply troubled by things like this and my empathy and compassion go out to the GLBT community.

    Given all that is happening around us, that is not in your favour, I just wanted to send out a great big reassuring hug to all of you. I support you and I honor your right to be yourself! I pray strength, courage and protection for each of you. You are beautiful people and I heart You!

  • Unity/Oneness/Harmony/Connection

    Why can’t we all just get along?

    It doesn’t seem to be enough that I Love Christ and that I KNOW that Christ Loves me. By mainstream Christian standards, it isn’t enough that I live my life as He has instructed… so much so that unless people ask me what my religion is they automatically assume that I am a Christian. Even my husband still says I am. I try to make him understand that Christianity has cast me out because I find as much value and beauty in other belief systems as I do in Christ’s teachings. I have found my way to God by many different paths so I am no longer able to think that Christ is the only teacher who can lead me to God. Because Christian doctrine requires that I proclaim Christ as the only way to God I know that I am not a Christian.

    Do I have to label myself ”Christian” in order to Love Christ and to allow Him to work through me?

     A “to each his own” attitude would go a long way toward cultivating a more peacful world.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Unless we know the value of other religious traditions, it is difficult to develop respect for them. Mutual respect is the foundation of genuine harmony. We should strive for a spirit of harmony, not for political or economic reasons, but rather simply because we realize the value of other traditions.” ~ Dalai Lama
     “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bound or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because l am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because l am not the eye, l am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?” (1 COR. 12-16)
    “He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.” ~ Buddha
    Oneness of the Divine. It may be given a thousand names such as The Primary Cause / God / Energy / I. All that is created has it’s Self this Oneness.” ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba
    “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.” ~ Chief Seattle
    “All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.”~ Swami Vivekananda
    “This overcoming of all the usual barriers between the individual and the Absolute is the great mystic achievement. In mystic states we both become one with the Absolute and we become aware of our oneness. This is the everlasting and triumphant mystical tradition, hardly altered by differences of clime or creed.” ~ William James
    “A miracle is nothing more or less than this. Anyone who has come into a knowledge of his true identity, of his oneness with the all-pervading wisdom and power, this makes it possible for laws higher than the ordinary mind knows of to be revealed to him.” ~ Ralph Waldo
    The essence of all religions is One. Surrender is the main duty of everyone. Surrender means the feeling of oneness, I and God are One. Why? The reason is that the One who is present in you is present in me.” ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba
    So we, being many, are one body in Christ; and every one members one of another. (ROMANS 12:5)
    All major religious traditions carry basically the same message, that is love, compassion and forgiveness … the important thing is they all should be part of our daily lives.” ~ Dalai Lama
  • Are you being a good consumer?
    Before you go on your big Christmas buying spree you might want to take a look at this.
    If you ask me… I think most people have way more STUFF than they NEED. Once we realize the impact that our buying habits have on our planet we may begin to re-think some of our purchases. We are consistantly being brainwashed into believing that we need to shop. The following video is an entertaining and educational illustration of the impact of being a “good” consumer.
    THE STORY OF STUFF
September 27, 2010
  • ‘God vs. Science’
    I am a big Albert Einstein fan and this is a story about him that I found very interesting. Maybe you will too.
    ‘God vs. Science’
    ‘Let me explain the problem science has with religion.’ The atheist
    professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of
    his new students to stand.
    ‘You’re a Christian, aren’t you, son?’
    ‘Yes sir,’ the student says.
    ‘So you believe in God?’
    ‘Absolutely. ‘
    ‘Is God good?’
    ‘Sure! God’s good.’
    ‘Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?’
    ‘Yes’
    ‘Are you good or evil?’
    ‘The Bible says I’m evil.’
    The professor grins knowingly. ‘Aha! The Bible! He considers for a
    moment. ‘Here’s one for you. Let’s say there’s a sick person over here and
    you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?’
    ‘Yes sir, I would.’
    ‘So you’re good…!’
    ‘I wouldn’t say that.’
    ‘But why not say that? You’d help a sick and maimed person if you
    could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn’t.’
    The student does not answer, so the professor continues. ‘He doesn’t, does
    he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to
    Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Can you answer that one?’
    The student remains silent. ‘No, you can’t, can you?’
    the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give
    the student time to relax. ‘Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?’
    ‘Er..yes,’ the student says.
    ‘Is Satan good?’
    The student doesn’t hesitate on this one. ‘No.’
    ‘Then where does Satan come from?’
    The student falters. ‘From God’
    ‘That’s right. God made Satan, didn’t he? Tell me, son. Is there
    evil in this world?’
    ‘Yes, sir.’
    ‘Evil’s everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything, correct?’
    ‘Yes’
    ‘So who created evil?’ The professor continued, ‘If God created
    everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according
    to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.’
    Again, the student has no answer. ‘Is there sickness? Immorality?
    Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?’
    The student squirms on his feet. ‘Yes.’
    ‘So who created them?’
    The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his
    question. ‘Who created them?’ There is still no answer. Suddenly the
    lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is
    mesmerized. ‘Tell me,’ he continues onto another student. ‘Do you believe in
    Jesus Christ, son?’
    >>>
    The student’s voice betrays him and cracks. ‘Yes, professor, I do.’
    The old man stops pacing. ‘Science says you have five senses you use to
    identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?’
    ‘No sir. I’ve never seen Him.’
    ‘Then tell us if you’ve ever heard your Jesus?’
    ‘No, sir, I have not.’
    ‘Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your
    Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for
    that matter?’
    ‘No, sir, I’m afraid I haven’t.’
    ‘Yet you still believe in him?’
    ‘Yes’
    ‘According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable
    protocol, science says your God doesn’t exist.. What do you say to that,
    son?’
    ‘Nothing,’ the student replies. ‘I only have my faith.’
    ‘Yes, faith,’ the professor repeats. ‘And that is the problem
    science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.’
    The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question
    of His own. ‘Professor, is there such thing as heat?’
    ‘ Yes.
    ‘And is there such a thing as cold?’
    ‘Yes, son, there’s cold too.’
    ‘No sir, there isn’t.’
    The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested.
    The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.
    ‘You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat,
    unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don’t have
    anything called ‘cold’. We can hit down to 458 degrees below zero, which is
    no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing
    as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458
    degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or
    transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit
    energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir,
    cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat.
    We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat
    is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.’
    Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding
    like a hammer.
    ‘What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?’
    ‘Yes,’ the professor replies without hesitation. ‘What is night if it
    isn’t darkness?’
    ‘You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence
    of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light,
    flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and
    it’s called darkness, isn’t it? That’s the meaning we use to define the
    word. In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were, you would be able to make
    darkness darker, wouldn’t you?’
    The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will
    be a good semester. ‘So what point are you making, young man?’
    ‘Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to
    start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.’
    The professor’s face cannot hide his surprise this time. ‘Flawed?
    Can you explain how?’
    ‘You are working on the premise of duality,’ the student explains..
    ‘You argue that there is life and then there’s death; a good God and
    a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite,
    something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought.’
    ‘It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less
    fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be
    ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.
    Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.’
    ‘Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved
    from a monkey?’
    ‘If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man,
    yes, of course I do.’
    ‘Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?’
    The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes
    where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.
    ‘Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and
    cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you
    not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a
    preacher?’
    The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion
    has subsided. ‘To continue the point you were making earlier to the other
    student, let me give you an example of what I mean.’ The student looks
    around the room. ‘Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the
    professor’s brain?’ The class breaks out into laughter. ‘Is there anyone
    here who has ever heard the professor’s brain, felt the professor’s brain,
    touched or smelt the professor’s brain? No one appears to have done so. So,
    according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable
    protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir.’
    ‘So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?’
    Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face
    unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. ‘I
    Guess you’ll have to take them on faith.’
    ‘Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,’
    the student continues. ‘Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?’
    Now uncertain, the professor responds, ‘Of course, there is. We see it
    Everyday. It is in the daily example of man’s inhumanity to man. It is in
    The multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These
    manifestations are nothing else but evil.’
    To this the student replied, ‘Evil does not exist sir, or at least it
    does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just
    like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the
    absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens
    when man does not have God’s love present in his heart. It’s like the cold
    that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no
    light.’
    The professor sat down.
    PS: the student was Albert Einstein
    Albert Einstein wrote a book titled God vs. Science in 1921…
